In the spring of 2008 New Life Christian Academy became a vision when many of the parents at New Life Baptist Church in Clinton, North Carolina began having concerns about the negative influence of other schools on their children. They also had a desire to keep their children's focus on God through Bible based teaching. Many of the parents had inquired about home schooling or transporting their children to an existing Christian school. Through much hard work from many individuals, led by Pastor Dave Page of New Life Baptist, and several miracles that can only be attributed to the hand of God, this vision became a reality very quickly.
New Life Christian Academy (NLCA) opened their doors in the fall of 2008 with a little over 20 students enrolled into the A Beka Program. Kindergarten through 12th has been offered since the first year. In the fall of 2009 NLCA nearly doubled their enrollment from the first year. They added a pre-school as well as a Girls Varsity Volleyball team and a Boy's Varsity basketball team.
With faith and trust in God they are making plans to expand the space available to accommodate the amazing growth that NLCA has already seen. This Christian school was planned to be a ministry to the community and with that plan in mind, they are making every effort to keep costs low and affordable. Some of the students at NLCA come from outside of the NLBC church family, which is an encouragement for NLCA to keep pressing on and reaching out to families with concerns about the spiritual health of their children.
NLCA uses Ephesians 6:11 as their school Bible verse which says, "Put on the whole armour of God that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil". The desire of NLCA is to make a difference in each child's education that will last a lifetime!
Our Dedicated Staff
work to provide a caring and stimulating environment to enhance the learning experience of all NLCA students. A standard of excellence and high expectations challenge our students to reach their full academic potential.

The purpose of New Life Christian Academy is to provide thorough academic instruction from a Biblical worldview, to help students develop socially by teaching patriotism and respect for authority, and to encourage students spiritually by emphasizing one’s personal accountability to God while developing the mind of Christ in each student. When a student graduates from NLCA, it is our desire that he is fully prepared to step into the next phase of his life. NLCA strives to do this while working to support the family and the work of the local church.
Statement of Faith
New Life Christian Academy, as a ministry of New Life Baptist Church, believes and teaches the doctrines of the Christian faith as embraced by the historic, Biblical, Baptist position.
We believe in the verbal, plenary, divine inspiration and preservation of the Scriptures, the triune God, the fallen nature of man and his just condemnation, salvation by grace through faith alone in Christ alone, as the free gift of God, the necessity of repentance and faith wrought by the Holy Spirit, the glorious display of God’s purpose and grace, the progressive work of sanctification, the keeping power of God, the harmony of the law and the gospel, the prominence of immersion and the sacrament of the Lord’s Supper, the devout observance of the first day of the week, the honoring of civil government, the resurrection of the righteous to eternal life and the wicked to eternal damnation, and the imminent, personal, pre-tribulation, pre-millennial return of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ for the rapture of His saints. New Life Christian Academy uses only the King James Version of the Bible in the pulpit and for classroom use.
We hold to the Bible as our sole authority for all matters of belief and conduct. As such, we use a literal interpretation of the Bible, Marriage, as defined by God in His Word, has only one meaning, and is to be a lifelong commitment between one man and one woman. All forms of
sexual immorality outside of these bonds (including adultery, fornication, homosexuality, lesbianism, bisexual conduct, bestiality, incest, pornography, disagreement with one’s biological gender, or attempts to change one’s biological gender) or advocacy of these behaviors, is sinful and offensive to God.
We believe that in order to preserve the mission and integrity of the school, and to provide a biblical role model to the students and the community, it is imperative that all persons employed by the school and all persons who attend the school should agree to and abide by
this Statement on Marriage and Sexuality.
We believe that God offers redemption and restoration to all who confess and forsake their sin, seeking His mercy and forgiveness through Jesus Christ.
We believe that every person must be afforded compassion, love,
kindness, respect, and dignity. Hateful and harassing behavior or attitudes directed toward any individual are to be repudiated and are not in accord with Scripture nor the policy of this school.
We provide sound, proven training through conventional teaching methods and the A Beka program that will challenge & prepare them from an academic, social & spiritual standpoint
